Finding the right cat prescription glasses can be a challenge. I went through a few pairs before I found ones I truly loved. This is my story of finding the best glasses for my needs.
My first pair of cat prescription glasses were super cheap. I found them online for around $15. It seemed like a great deal at the time, but I quickly realized why they were so inexpensive. They lasted maybe a few weeks before they started falling apart.
The frames were flimsy and the lenses scratched easily. I also noticed that the prescription wasn't quite right. I often got headaches when wearing them for extended periods.

Here's what I didn't like:
One-star reviews often mentioned similar problems: "Frames broke within a week," and "Lenses are blurry." Many cheap cat prescription glasses suffer from these issues.
Verdict: Avoid super cheap glasses. They're not worth the money in the long run. It's better to save up for something of higher quality.
After my experience with the cheap glasses, I decided to upgrade to something mid-range. I spent around $50 on a pair that looked much better online. They arrived and were… okay. The frames were sturdier than the first pair, and the prescription seemed more accurate.
However, I still wasn't completely satisfied. The lenses weren't as clear as I had hoped, and they still scratched fairly easily. The fit was also a bit awkward. They would slide down my nose constantly, which was annoying.
A three-star review described my experience accurately: "Decent glasses for the price, but not the best quality." Many mid-range cat prescription glasses offer better quality than the cheapest options, but they still have their drawbacks.
